Responsibilities
- Handle hotel reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the booking process.
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival and provide them with necessary information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately.
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance in a prompt and professional manner.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized and efficient front desk area, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, following established procedures and maintaining accuracy in financial transactions.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and special events to provide accurate information to guests.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining guest records.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, or B.Sc Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Hotel Reservations and Front Desk Officer or a similar role in the hotel and hospitality industry.
- Relevant educational qualifications in the hotel and hospitality industry are preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with a friendly and approachable personality.
- Knowledge of reservation and front desk procedures in the hotel industry.
- Flexibility to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Female candidates are preferred for this position.
