Job Title: Live-out Housekeeper

Location: Magodo Phase 2, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time
Schedule: 4-6 days a week, 2-8 hours a day (or less if the chores are completed), average 15 hours a week

Position Overview

  • A family of 2 adults and 0 kids is seeking a professional housekeeper to work in a 3-bed 3.5 bath private residence in Magodo Phase 2, Lagos state.
  • The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain cleanliness and order throughout the home. The Housekeeper will work closely with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the household.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning bedrooms and common spaces
  • Cleaning and sanitizing Kitchen and bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
  • Disinfecting surfaces
  • Dusting surfaces and baseboards
  • Washing dishes
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all closets, cabinets, and drawers
  • Washing windows
  • Maintenance of the immediate exterior compound
  • Laundry
  • Monitoring stocking levels of consumables
  • Notifying the employer of deficits or damages immediately after they are noticed
  • Preparing guest rooms for visitors
  • Occasional shopping - card, car, and driver provided
  • Periodic deep cleaning
  • The candidate will be expected to adhere to household rules, health and safety standards and strict personal hygiene standards

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working as a housekeeper in a private residence.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organisation throughout the home.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively with other staff members and household occupants.
  • The ideal candidate will be fit enough to perform duties, including lifting and moving heavy objects, and standing for work-related activities.
  • The ideal candidate will be professional, discrete, and respectful of the privacy and security of the household and its occupants.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Additional education or training in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus.
  • Proximity to the residence is preferred

Salary & Benefits

  • N50,000 monthly(Negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
  • Biannual salary review

On commencement:

  • 20 paid vacation days per annum
  • 7 paid sick days per annum

After 6 months:
