Job Title: Accountant
Location: Kaduna, Lagos

Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account closings.
- Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Analyze financial data and prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Report on the company's financial health and liquidity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records according to accounting principles.
- Comply with all relevant financial policies and regulations.
- Stay informed about current accounting standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- ICAN applicants with 1 - 3 years of experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
