Role Overview
As a Program Officer at Rolan Foundation, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our programs and projects. Working closely with our dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference by:
- Designing and developing innovative program strategies to achieve our mission and objectives.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, partners, and beneficiaries to ensure program alignment and effectiveness.
- Monitoring program activities, outcomes, and impact to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
- Facilitating knowledge-sharing and capacity-building initiatives to empower communities and promote sustainability.
- Contributing to fundraising efforts by assisting with grant writing, donor relations, and proposal development.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A strong commitment to social impact and a genuine passion for our mission.
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND in relevant fiedls.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, partners, and beneficiaries.
- Proven experience in program management, project coordination, or related fields within the non-profit sector, demonstrating a track record of successful program implementation and impact assessment.
- Sound knowledge of program design, development, and evaluation methodologies, with the ability to conceptualize and execute innovative strategies to achieve program objectives.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using project management software such as Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project to create project plans, track progress, and manage tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to leverage project management tools for resource allocation, budget tracking, and risk management, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and timely delivery of program outcomes.
- Experience in collaborating with team members and stakeholders through project management platforms, facilitating communication, collaboration, and information sharing.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and communicate programmatic outcomes and impact metrics effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of teamwork, creativity, and mutual support.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
