Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Field Enforcement and Surveillancewith a good security/paramilitarybackground to oversee and manage daily field operations of enforcement and surveillance within our organization.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities, along with a deep understanding of field enforcement operational procedures and logistical management.
  • Candidate must prompt in action and be able to meet target and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement field operational strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Supervise daily workflow, schedules, activities, and assignments of enforcement and parking attendant.
  • Participate in evaluating staff performance; work with employees to correct deficiencies; implement discipline procedures.
  • Prepare and conduct training for new hires and current staff on a variety of field operation topics.
  • Investigate loss and theft events and compile data for accurate reporting.
  • Ensure team met required target and surpass it.
  • Ensure continuous training and retraining for all team members
  • Supervise, plan, and coordinate enforcement and parking attendants.
  • Be polite in response to queries and concerns of road users where the need arises.
  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions to operations.
  • Lead and mentor operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
  • Analyze operational data and metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between different departments and teams to ensure smooth operations and goal alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing field operations for enforcement and surveillance team.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or unforeseen situations, utilizing experience in crisis management.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with the transportation industry within the Abuja city.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred; however, equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Extensive experience in a field operations/security/paramilitary operational role, preferably with experience in planning, executing, and overseeing complex field operations.
  • Proven leadership abilities with the capability to lead and inspire teams to achieve objectives in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas, plans, and strategies across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and making informed decisions based on metrics and operational insights.

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Working with set target and team coordination
  • Patrol and security methods and procedures.
  • Principles and practices of supervision, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Safety practices and procedures.
  • Conflict management and resolution.
  • Techniques of group and crowd control.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.
  • Operation of a computer and assigned devices.

Physical Demands:

  • Physical Fitness
  • Moderate lifting ( 40kg).
  • Hearing and speaking to exchange information and make presentations.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Walking to conduct inspections.

Hazard:

  • Exposure to dissatisfied or abusive individuals.
