Job Description
- We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.
- The Assistant Manager will play a key role in supporting the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, inventory control, and financial management.
- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff assignments, and customer service standards.
- Supervise and train restaurant staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies, ingredients, and equipment in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the guest.
- Assist with the development and implementation of marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase revenue.
- Prepare reports on sales, inventory, labor costs, and other key performance indicators, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence in all aspects of restaurant operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant industry, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume establishment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with guests and staff.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, kitchen management, and front-of-house procedures.
- Proficiency in computer software applications, including POS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Food safety certification and alcohol service certification may be required.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Must be 40 years and above.
- Must be willing to work from Monday - Saturday
